In case anyone's wondering, I'm still around...
Been working on setting up for retirement (just turned 50), and - got the last 'kid' out of the house a couple weeks ago.
Hope all is going as well as it can for everyone.
MMy 'old' password for TG isn't working, and for what it's worth, I'm seeing some 'interesting' things there, but - hey, it is what it is.
Just musing,

I've got another ID there (zzawty), and requested that my original id (awty) gets sorted out, but - nothing so far, and I haven't pushed it...(Recover password doesn't work, if I remember right, I had my email there set to sickof@spam.com, lol...)
Just the same old same old stuff I've been seeing for over 10 years now. And, yes, 'the economy' does seem to affect the 'arena'. When times get tough, people looking for 'quick cash' can turn into targets, and at times, their 'common sense' goes out the window, when serious financial pressure is on...
By the way, living in the US, I've often heard that Social Security is a ponzi (it is)). NOW, the entire government, if not just bordering on it - is.
I got really tired of getting less than 1% interest on my savings, and found out one of the companies that I trade with, offers accounts in Australian dollars, with corresponding Australian interest (around 4%), and I can do it from the US. Actually opening an Australian account is not an option for me...)
Doing OK, and working on moving all of my trading 'offshore', as the US regulations are changing, and those 'regulations' STILL won't prevent some of the 'carp' and games that go on financially in this country.
But, hey, it SOUNDS good, doesn't it?
The US financial system is becoming more of an 'HYIP' than I would have EVER hoped, and I DON'T like 'playing the game'.
Especially when they keep changing the rules.
(And 'they' wonder why there's $2 trillion in cash that's NOT being put 'in the markets')... LOL...
We had a business for a while, didn't do as well as we'd hoped, so we closed it down. And, I can tell you, right now, I would NOT even CONSIDER opening a business, with all that's going on.
So, I just plod on, working at the same company I've been with for almost 32 years now, trading forex (and that's another arena where MANY scammers, and some well-intentioned 'fools' operate...)
I'll have to yap at Brian to see if I can get the 'ol TG logon going again...
